05/2017

By the inauguration on May 12, 2017 of the 97m pedestrian suspension bridge over the Estelí River in the community of Monte Verde, in the department of Madriz, Nicaragua; Fhecor Ingenieros Consultores has become the first Spanish company in the sector Civil Engineering to cooperate with the American NGO Bridges to Prosperity.
Fhecor has made possible the realization of this project donating to the NGO more than the half of the budget of the footbridge (25,000 GBP) and sending on site five of its employees during the two weeks of construction of the bridge once the foundations were ready.
The NGO Bridges to Prosperity, which has already built 49 pedestrian bridges in Nicaragua, counted on the funds from the Rotary Club of Somoto, the contribution of some of the construction materials by the Mayor's Office of Palacagüina and the inestimable hosting and workforce of the Monte Verde’s Community for the achievement of this project valued at 1.5 million Nicaraguan cordobas ($ 50,000).
June the 2nd there will take place a symposium talk at the Showroom of Almirante in which the 5 participants in this construction will explain aspects of the work through their experiences in this enriching project.
